Auto shows are great opportunities for the media and public to enjoy seeing, touching, and sitting in some of the world’s finest vehicles and provide a chance to compare makes and models that would not otherwise all be under the same roof.
During the ongoing 2016 Chicago Auto Show, not only do we get a chance to see the 2016 Shelby GT350 makes its rounds but Ford Performance has also brought along at least three examples of the latest track-targeted Mustangs including a GT350R in Magnetic with black stripes and red accents.
In addition to the eye candy, some of the automotive media have gotten special access to the vehicles including TheFastLaneCar which got to do a rev battle between the 8.4-liter V10 Dodge Viper with side-mounted exhaust pipes, the 707-horsepower Dodge Charger Hellcat and the 2016 Shelby GT350 with its exotic flat plane crank 5.2-liter engine.
After revving all three of these powerful American super cars, TFLC’s Roman Mica gets out of the GT350 and says with pure joy “that sounds like God laughing.”
