After over a year of testing and development in computer simulations, laboratory tests and real world vehicle testing on roads and tracks, Steeda Autosports has just announced the first aftermarket rear adjustable camber arms for the S550 Mustang.
The camber arms are heat-treated and nickel-plated 4140 steel for strength and corrosion resistance and allow adjustments from -5 degrees to +2 degrees to help owners who have lowered their S550s to dial in the correct camber.
“Delrin on one side and spherical bearing on the other rids you of the deflection that the factory bushing allows. This means better camber control in the corner,” notes Steeda.
“With our setup you won’t lose any camber during cornering – you will maintain ideal camber gain throughout the corner. Gain grip, have a more predictable handling experience, and the rear of the vehicle will react to inputs more quickly. This leaves the handling feeling more direct and positive while also making the car much more capable on the track!”
