Ford Racing just announced that they want to help tune your 2015 Mustang EcoBoost, all while maintaining your factory warranty.
Expected to be ready by the end of 2015, Ford is developing custom engine calibrations for the new 2.3L EcoBoost engine, modifying the engine’s performance with Ford’s calibrations loaded into the ECU via a Ford Racing ProCal handset (currently available for other Ford vehicles for $595) that adjusts several engine parameters.
Ford reports that ECU programming adjustments have resulted in performance gains of up to 90 lb.-ft of torque in other Ford vehicles such as the Focus ST.
