American Racing Headers (ARH) recently took a Competition Orange 2015 Mustang GT belonging to Mustang6G member A.J., to mock up its new ARH exhaust systems and run some dyno tests.
A.J. will be getting ARH’s 1 7/8″ Long Tube headers, a catted x-pipe, and 3-inch exhaust with ARH mufflers…
To start, ARH baselined the 100% stock GT and it put down 380 RWHP and 350 RWTQ. After the exhaust was fitted for mock-up and testing, they strapped it on the dyno again and the car put down 410 RWHP and 365 RWTQ (for gains of 30 RWHP and 15 RWTQ) — yet another indication of the new Mustang’s restrictive stock exhaust.
