Here’s your first look under the hood of the new 4-cylinder EcoBoost Mustang with its 2.3L turbo engine!
In our recent interview at the Detroit Auto Show with Mustang chief engineer, Dave Pericak told us that the new 2.3L inline 4-cylinder EcoBoost engine was specifically designed for the Mustang and the car is said to be lighter, better balanced, and extremely nimble around a track.
As with the recent pictures of the new 5.0L engine bay, these are preproduction vehicles being shown at the auto shows so there may be slight modifications in the final production versions.
