Ford Motor Company has finally officially acknowledged the upcoming 2019 Shelby GT500, which the company just announced in a teaser video of the next halo Mustang!
The next Shelby GT500 will be the most powerful street-legal production Ford ever produced, packing a supercharged 5.2-liter V8 with more than 700 horsepower projected.
“This new Mustang is engineered to stand apart on roadways and race tracks, thanks to its new innovative track technologies, performance hardware, plus aggressive and functional track-tuned styling,” Ford notes in its press release.
The GT500 teaser video provides quick glances at different aspects of the 2019 GT500 including new wheels, redesigned rear end adopting the 2018 refreshed changes, quad exhaust pipes, large rear wing, new front fascia showing two protruding straight-edged “fangs,” vented hood, Cobra emblems and what appears to be the 2015-17 Mustang headlight design.
