Our friends at Late Model Restoration not only have gotten their hands on a 2018 Mustang GT, but have just posted the world’s first dyno numbers of the updated S550!
This 2018 Mustang GT with performance pack (level 1), rated at 460HP and 420 lb-ft of torque, achieved 415HP and 397 lb-ft of torque at SAE on the dyno with 93 octane fuel.
The vehicle was 100% bone stock and equipped with 10-speed automatic transmission (7th gear dyno pull at 1:1) and 19-inch rear wheel with 275/40/19 Michelin Pilot Sports.
LMR also notes of the dyno results: “The car’s VSS did limit us on our pull. This is why you see car tap out at 6600 RPMs. The redline for the 2018 Mustang GT is 7500. On that note, the car does have room on the table for potentially more power!”
