Jay Leno calls his 2016 Shelby GT350R one of his “all-time favorite cars” to drive and on the latest episode of Jay Leno’s Garage, featured a special carbon fiber bodied GT350R built by SpeedKore Performance Group.
SpeedKore Vice President, David Salvaggio, was invited to the show to talk to Jay about the full carbon fiber exterior transformation including carbon fiber mirror covers, decklid, hood, front fenders, front bumper, front splitter, rear bumper, speed flares, rear diffuser and rear spoiler.
The body panels, such as the front fender which weighs an incredible 1.8-pounds replace the steel and aluminum parts for an estimated 400-600 pound total weight savings over the factory GT350R.
