2020 GT500 Will Have Two 3D-Printed Brake Parts

Inside Ford’s new Advanced Manufacturing Center in Redford, Michigan, Ford Motor Company previewed the innovative technologies that will help to build parts for its next-generation vehicles, including the 2020 Shelby GT500 Mustang.

We don’t have much information yet, but Ford revealed that the next GT500 Mustang will receive at least two brake parts made from a 3D printing machine while the F-150 Raptor built for China will include a 3D printed interior part.

As the company notes, 3D parts will no doubt become increasingly more prevalent as 3D printing becomes more affordable.
