Recaro Automotive Seating just announced that it will be showcasing “Performance Luxury Seats” for the 2016 Shelby GT350 Mustang, as part of its showcase of “automotive seating market firsts” that the company plans to debut at the 2015 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
Recaro notes that the “hand-crafted Recaro seats will be offered as optional equipment” made to “complement this world-class performance vehicle that is designed to tackle the most challenging roads while being comfortable for everyday driving.”
This likely means that the base 2016 Shelby GT350 Mustang will come with standard Recaro seats (pictured above) like those shown during the live reveal at Shelby American (which one M6G member seemingly managed to snatch up de-badged).
This announcement comes as Ford is expected to announce the GT350R Mustang next week, the racing version of the new Shelby-badged GT350 Mustang from Ford Performance.
