The December 2014 sales data for the 2015 Mustang is out and Ford knocked it out of the park to end the year!
After posting its best November sales since 2006, the success continued into December as Ford sold 9,511 new Mustangs last month, representing a 66 percent year-over-year increase and its best December sales since 2006. FoMoCo also notes that the sales increase has been seen in all regions of the country.
So how did the Mustang round out the 2014 calendar year? It captured 37.5% of the pony car market among its two main rivals — the Dodge Challenger and the Chevrolet Camaro.
Here is how the 2015 Mustang sales figures compared to its competition in December 2014:
