The hood features a race-inspired 3-inch cowl flanked on both sides by two heat extractor vents which pull heat from the engine bay and keep the engine cool. The carbon fiber heat vents are removable and can be interchanged with Anderson Composites’ more aggressive Type-AB 4-slot carbon fiber hood vents.
Made of high quality wet carbon fiber, this hood is lightweight and strong and shows off the meticulously hand laid carbon fiber with a high-gloss finish. Installation is made easier as it is a direct replacement for the 2015-17 Mustang’s factory hood and uses factory mounting locations and hardware. No other modifications are required except hood pins which are required for safety reasons.
