I am looking for rear springs that will help with my 1/4 time but also give me a visually pleasant drop to clean up the wheel gap. 2018 pp1 5.0

I am running VMS 17x10 wheels with 305/45/17 tire in the rear, stock pp1 wheels up front.

Does anyone have any suggestions of a spring that will work and not cause issues on launch like rubbing etc.

Thanks!

Bmr drag springs are great for performance at the track. I believe they lower 1.2 in the front and .5 in the rear. If you want a more level look the steeda sport linear rate springs are a good option also. Those lower the car about 1" all around.

Yes, BMR drag springs work with a 17x10 305/45R17 set-up. I ran this combination for 2 seasons.

Thanks for the reply! Did they help with your time at all? Did it improve the 60 foot? Any photo how are you car sits from the side?

That’s a really tall tire so don’t get any of the more extreme rear drops like eibach sportlines etc or you will rub for sure, stick to the .5 to .75 rear drops. Will work perfect.

It’s hard to say if the springs helped by themselves because I made multiple changes at 1 time. It definitely looks better then stock.

BMR sport lines with a 17Ă—10 VMS 305/45/17 and ive never rubbed. I will say my longtubes have scraped shit more than I care to admit though lol. But I am switching springs for more of a drag setup soon.

Based on the picture you have a lot of negative camber in rear though.. so I would say you probably
Would rub if you had neutral camber
