Ok, no laughing

I the JlT 3.0 oil catch can. I have watched videos, called JLT and there is something I can't figure. The hose behind the TB is easy to get to, my hang up is when I disconnect that upper line and attach the catch can, what happens to the line is disconnected? Where does it go? I can't believe something so easy has me stumped.
Bottom line, what happens to the lines that are disconnected?

The JLT replaces that hose entirely. Remove the factory line from both connection points and store it in a drawer or discard.
