Hehe. This car is AWESOME!

Almost at the 1000 mile mark. Then I can open her up. Hitting Tail of the Dragon tomorrow. My wife's favorite thing is the Pony lights. She flipped on those. I'm actually liking the Recaro seats now.

Today I accidentally hit the paddle Shifters. How do you get out of those?

Granger Rocks!

If you are on D if you hit the paddle you keep accelerating and it will automatically start shifting on its on but if you are of S and you hit the paddles then it will be manual but eventually it will shift but at a very high rpm

If you are on D and you hit the paddle and want to exit that mode just hold the up paddle for a few seconds and it will put you back in auto

Thanke. I tried that but the number just flashed showing I couldn't shift yet. Maybe I didn't hold it long enough.

Don’t baby the car to much. I started somewhat ripping it at 500 miles and so far no oil consumption here

So, what does S do?

I appreciate the help as I won't have time to sit and read the manual until Sunday night.
S puts you in sport plus which mean that once you hit the paddles it puts you in manual shifting and the only time it will shift for you is when you are almost at redline and it will only shift to the next gear so again for the next year you will shift at the redline. You can also exit manual shift by holding the up paddle

Thanks. So, even if Shifter is in S I can exit by holding the paddle?

yes but if you hit them again while on S don’t expect auto shifting unless almost at redline. If I was you just drive it on D and put it on sport mode so in case you hit the paddle the car will shift for you in a not so high rpm

In S mine doesn't upshift even at redline.
From the owners manual.
