Are you still running the clutch tamer? If that happened, yes, I probably would rebuild it again. However, if any of the treated parts were damaged, I would not spend the money for Cryo and WPC again. I’m glad I had both services done, but it was definitely a lot of money spent on those two treatments.
To be honest, I’m already nervous about taking it back to the track when I get to that point. I’ve got so much time and money into the build, that it’s hard not to feel that way.
Yes. I still need to dial it in though. I think I’ve got the 1st stage valve narrowed down to a good ballpark setting + or - a turn or two. I’m going to decrease the times on the launch and shift timers a bit and increase the time as needed from there. Are you still running the clutch tamer?
Thank you! That’s exactly what I was hoping to do. There’s no need to let the next person struggle if I have info. that can be of help to them. Besides, I too have received help from other members here occasionally, so I like to pay it forward whenever possible.Doode. Bump for an amazing thread. A plethora of detail and a beautiful road map of step by step. Well done sir!
60k. broken 1-2 shift fork, worn 2nd gear engagement teeth and slider, bad 3rd gear engagement teeth, definitely needs replacement. Nothing catastrophic, mild wear. Definitely worthy of a refresh.
