So i am due for my first oil change….. i am approaching 2k miles, 2022 GT. I coerced them to install my mud flaps for free during the purchase, and have no problems using the dealer for oil changes…
is the general consensus to use dealer oil or do you guys suggest something else? I am ok with buying my own oil and filter (ford oil filter or other?) if needed.
is there any recommended oil to use? Synthetic? Mobil 1? Amsoil? Or something else?
The car is my DD till winter where it will be garaged.
Im in Maine, and being a ragtop, i dont need snow on the roof, my plan is to drive it till first snow or temps get too low for the summer tires. Once i replace the summer tires with all weather tires ill gain 2 months of drive time.
Any oil choice/type recommendations would be welcome.
