That's what we've been saying since some info leaked earlier. The difference between the GT and EB is not that great...which is why some are considering the GT now.

Ford has been dinged quite a bit recently about customers not getting the mileage claims on the ecoboost and some hybrids. I doubt they would, but I wonder if they knocked it down an mpg or two to prevent owners from being upset over not reaching the claims.

Still good numbers though.

yeesh, the v6 went down that much?

Might be more smoke and mirrors by Ford though to sell more Ecoboost since it didn't get anywhere near what everyone expected. Ya know 32+ for the Highway

City 19 Highway 28

V8 models unavailable
These numbers match the survey that was sent out months ago. EB auto is prob 32 auto, same city.

If so, that means the V8 is most likely around:

City 17 Highway 27 for the Manual
City 18 Highway 28 for the Auto

The v6 Doesn't match up to that survery though. It said 29 for hwy. And Hwy mileage for the V8 Manual was usually higher while the auto got better in the city

I bet the Ecoboost Auto is a lot higher than the Manual. It seems to be the case more often these days.

They didn't used to have as many gears in the auto as the manual either though.

Yep but advances in transmissions, engines and gears have made Automatics the better MPGs most of the time but there are exceptions.

I don't get where you guys are getting better highway mileage for the Auto in the mustang. They are the same transmissions as last year and the Manual (V8) didn't better on the highway. So don't get your hopes up. Although for some reason it's different on the V6 vs the V8 although they are the same transmissions. The v6 did get better on the highway w/ the auto
