Pretty cool, thanks for sharing.

As much as I love the digital dash, the slow update time of the RPM bothers me lol, I thought it would be more like the update speed of an nGauge.

This is the best video I have seen yet on the digital dash. I don't like the digital dash at all. To me the digital dash just doesn't fit with what a Mustang should be.

I just feel like they underutilized it. Would have been nice to have a map inlay in the center, more than 1 or 2 vehicle or performance metrics, or even multiple gauge "looks" (metal, carbon fiber background, etc). Plus I like 2 round gauges, having a bar for tachometer in Sport+ would be weird to me. Happy to save the money and skip it.

The real question I have is, whey the hell is he moving the steering wheel around like he's driving while parked.

On a side note, the dash seems to have a built in shift light. Very nice.

He is like a little kid, pretending he is on a race track hitting the apex. Lol, you can see how much fun he is having revving the engine.

Absolutely nothing I would spend money on. Gimmicky, ghey.
Say it loud, I'm gay and I'm proud!

The shift light option was available on the 11 and up Shelby's, you could set your outer rings to go to a bright colour when you hit the redline you had set. I use to use it all the time at the track.

Glad to see with the 18 dash its even more in your face the way it lights up.

Having the RPM bigger is a nice gimmick, but they really should show more use of the digital dash like the huge map in audi/vw digital cockpit. For driving around the city I don't really care about how huge the RPM display is...

Also, the Mustang can't be taken as a lead car for putting digital clusters into cheaper cars, since the VW Golf and the also new VW Polo also have that (and it's not bound to an expensive package there).

I would have preferred the Heads UP Display. Having had two cars with them, I really miss it. At night you can darken the entire dash and everything appears to be projected out about 6" in front of the car. If something went wrong the gauge on the dash for that particular operation, i.e. Oil pressure, would light up Red. You never have to look at the dash again.

Change of colour on the rpm display when the engine approaches red line is very easy to see, even with glasses. Because of this easy visibility I am anticipating much flappy paddle gear changing fun rather than just leaving the car in D. Well done Ford, and thanks for not cluttering up the central display with attention seeking maps as per the hideous Audi effort.
The gauges on my automatic 2016 also turns red on high RPM. Not new?
