If you can't afford that GT4 for the track, how about an FP350S which looks to be the true successor to the Boss 302S.

Optional 18" Forgelines. I'd be interested in downsizing the brakes on my car with whatever it has in order to run 18" wheels.

I like to disassemble things.
I'm headed to PRI this afternoon and I'll see what I can uncover. I'm curious if this car uses the factory aluminum GT350 knuckle or the steel spindle from the Mustang GT, etc. And I'm going to study facial expressions very close when asking about the Trackey...

Also missing from the press release. Cross or flat plane crank?

I'm betting cross since it's not stated.

I could see it going either way given the name and still having the Shelby name on it. Note how the mustang GT4 has a very similar front splitter and it doesn't have the Shelby name.

Could even offer it both ways given the GT4 having a comparable engine.

Edit: Just noticed in these better pics that the stock GT350R splitter is surrounded by a new CF piece vs the single CF splitter of the GT4.

So it seems this would be the Pirelli World Challenge car, and the GT4 would run in the IMSA CT series?

my guess, CPC.
On the Ford performance website it calls out "8250rpm". I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess it's a FPC. If this is true, that may be why we've seen stuff about producing the VooDoo till 2020. Meaning there might not be a '18 GT350, but who knows.

Here's the FP link although I think Matt already posted it.

If nothing else parts-wise, I hope this drops the price of the 350R splitter by nature of the need for service replacements.

You could be right. Though the 5.2 Aluminator XS CPC engine unveiled last year hits 8000 rpm out of the box. So I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that they're using a CPC and still setting 8250 as the redline.

I re-read the details and it is called a Shelby. I couldn't see how it would not have the FPC. So I retract my CPC guess and solidly stand behind FPC lol
