Need some advice from you all, so im in the middle of this grille project, used a 50th anniversary grille and combining it with the grille from the 2014, everything has been carefully cut and I applied bondo to certain areas to make it look as good as possible, at the point where the pieces fit together perfectly but now i need help with holding the pieces together im worried abs plastic epoxy is not going to be strong enough to hold so i was thinkin of spme kind of bracket i can screw into from the back, hard to explain and am open to some out of the box thinking, any ideas??

I would use JB weld, that stuff is strong as hell,Or fiberglass jelly with some neatly cut cloth in the back for support!!

First I want to start off by saying I think this is going to look great! Bonus points for ingenuity, which I'm also very fond of myself

In all honesty, I think you'd be perfectly fine with an epoxy to hold them together. If you add enough on the inside of it when they fit together, you won't have to worry about it being noticeable from the outside either, so no worries there. If all else fails, maybe a small, metal tab that is hooked to the back side, across both pieces? Cant wait to see the outcome!

So, are your intentions to run fogs in the middle? If so, will they be LED or HID to match ?

I would look for a Plastic welder. Epoxy is not as permanent on plastic as you would think.

Very nice, I am working on a similar project but with the smaller lights from an 06 pony package Mustang. Cant wait to see the final product.

Maybe you could sell it to make molds of.
