Fathouse approached me about Gavin Stewart (a friend of the shop) a few months ago, who was eager to test our kit at the consumer level.
Being we didn't have the production kits readily available for sale, I was hesitant, but agreed that it would be good to have a daily driver consumer testing this kit privately to provide additional feedback and test data. (Outside of our own development car.)
Gavin has big goals for the car and seemed like the perfect candidate to partner to provide some valuable feedback, as he was eager to test the PTE6466 turbo's...which we had not yet tested on our own vehicle.
Wow, did these results impress!
This is our SBD Twin-Turbo Kit with PTE6466 turbo's on a 100% factory engine & transmission.
To make this an even more impressive feat, the car is a loaded Premium Package GT with Leather Heated/Cooled seats & 3.55 rear gear.
Weighed in a 4050 lbs at the drag strip with Gavin in the car!
Fore Innovations Fuel System with ID1300 Injectors on E85 Fuel, tuned by Ken Bjonnes @ Palm Beach Dyno. (Same tuner, formerly with Lund Racing, who tuned our development car to a 9.0 @ 157 mph pass.)
Here is 13 PSI & 17 PSI dyno data through the factory 6R80 AUTO transmission. Yes, an AUTO....this car is a BEAST! Picking up 35whp per 1 psi of boost, got to love twin turbos!
Being this car was on the stock engine, the car was backed down to 13 PSI before it left the dyno and headed to the drag strip.
On 20" wheels fighting traction with a 1.85 60 ft the car still went 10.21 @ 145mph, wow!
Gavin will be back with 17" Drag Radials soon and some deep 9 sec passes as she sits ;)
