So we are all aware of the bold on wheel spacers. Personally I don't like them in that they are a pain to remove and replace when changing brake rotors. Seeing as mine is going to be a part time track car, I will have 2 sets of rotors.

So I am wondering if anyone has tried a spacer that just utilizes longer studs, meaning it doesn't bolt to the wheel flange, it is a true spacer that just slides on. They would obviously center themselves on the little spiggot on the wheel flange and would have the same on one side for the wheel to go on and just the one set of lug nuts.

I have yet to see anyting like that on here, but maybe that is for a good reason?
