Hey guys,

I'm looking to buy Steeda clutch spring as a replacement for the stock clutch spring, which, from the reviews I read is [EDIT] too light (can't verify myself as I'm still waiting for my pony to be delivered).

There are a lot of guys who removed their stock spring all together, but in some cases, it makes the clutch pedal not coming all the way back up - that's where the lighter clutch spring comes in as a good replacement.

Steeda clutch spring is supposed to make it a lot smoother and easier to find that sweet spot while changing gears.

For more details, see here:
http://www.steeda.com/steeda-s550-mustang-clutch-spring-assist-35-lb-in-15-16-all-555-7022/

I talked to Dave at Steeda and he said that they do ship to Australia, but sending a single spring would cost as much as shipping number of them, so, in order to save us some shipping costs, let's make a bulk order!

Let me know who's keen. Once I get number of people interested, I'll let you know how much the cost would be. I don't imagine it to be extremely expensive as the spring itself is only around 10 USD at the moment.

The stock clutch isn't heay, it's too light. The guys complain of lack of predal feel. Remove the clutch assistance spring makes pushing the clutch in harder but there is more pedal feel. The lighter spring from steeda makes the clutch heavier than stock but not as heavy as no spring.

Cool. Put me down for one.

What's the shipping cost for 1 by itself, just out of curiosity.

Great find knaps. I stopped looking through the mod websites for a few months now.

Was trying to source this spring through a shop in the states but they only wanted to do $50 or more orders.

if you got 10 of them postage couldn't be more than $20 use. so they are $15 Aussie plus a postpack to members at $10.55. $25 at worst case?

Sounds about right. May be slightly more than $20 USD for postage for 10 though. Unless it was super slow mail.

Yeah, I reckon somewhere around there 25-30 AUD probably.

Will update you guys as soon as I get more info from them! For now, let's keep expressions of interest coming :)
