I picked up my shadow black tech pack GT350 yesterday morning. My wife and I traveled from Ohio down to South Carolina to pick her up. I was a little nervous as my last Mustang was an automatic, and it has been almost five years since I last drove stick. It came right back to me though.
The car is amazing! I was so excited that I forgot my drivers license at the dealership! This is by far the most special vehicle I have ever owned. I have had a couple of Mustang GTs with bolt-ons, but they do not even come close to this car!
When I was looking at the car in the sun after it was pulled out of the showroom I noticed that the is a small amount of blue and purple metallic flake in the paint which blew me away. I had thought this was just plain black paint!
The 700 mile drive home was great. The brakes are amazing as folks have stated. It was so flat and composed through the mountain twisties. The one thing I had to watch out for were grooves in the roads. The wider front tires want to tramline pretty bad. I was worried that the tech pack radio would be pretty bad from some of the comments online, but found it pretty decent after I adjusted the treble and bass. I love sync 3 and how responsive the touch screen is!
I wanted to drive her some more today, but it is snowing. I can't wait for some better weather to take her out again.
