My timeline. Ordered on 10/1, Received on 1/12. Yes, I don't know how or why I received mine so fast but I'm not complaining! When I ordered it back in October I was told to expect a spring delivery. So, being in New England I was just happy it wasn't snowing on Wednesday afternoon when I took delivery. The dealership I worked with was amazing (Prime Ford in Saco, Maine) didn't wash it and I was there for the whole PDI process. Car had 7 miles on it when I arrived. The drive home that night was alittle over 100 miles. In that 100 miles I really got to explore the car. The suspension settings all seemed to work, the steering modes work and the exhaust.. my god.. the exhaust. The exhaust in sport mode is simply amazing. Yes, the radio is as bad as everyone says. The Recaro's are VERY nice as are the brakes. My 'break in' period consisted of 100 miles of highway driving using different gears for period of time. I told myself I would just put the car in the garage after getting it.. but it just so much fun. I used to be one of those guys that feared for salt damage but.. I just cannot put her away yet. Last few days have been 30s and sunny.. sure there is salt on the roads but ... I just can't put it away. The amount of head turning, thumbs up, and jaw drops that I've received in the first 175 miles I've been driving it is amazing. Sure, the color helps but the car... oh.. the car. :headbang:

Anyway.. 175 or so miles on the clock thus far and having NO regrets. Wanted to hold off selling the E92 M3 until this arrived so I could see for myself how this car was. Yup.. no regrets.. no regrets at all. Enjoy the pics! And yes.. for those of you with kids.. my 4 year old loves the ride in 'daddys new race car'. :)

Congratulations She is beautiful. I agree with "I just can't put it away", the car is that intoxicating.

I had a first model year E92 M3 Coupe and it was a great car, but I never really fell in love with it.

I should have put an exhaust system on it as the motor and car were sublime, but just never caught the attention of my soul.

Oddly enough, I traded it for an X5 M and that was more fun for me as it drove so close to the M3, but made no sense, since it was so large and heavy it made me smile an evil grin.

Something that big has no right to handle and go as fast as it did......Have fun with your GT350 as I know you will......Steve

Thanks Steve. Yes the M3 is a good machine. I primarily autocross it and drive it on weekends. I've had it for 3 years, it has 24K miles and have had no issues. It does have an exhaust, test pipes (cat delete), tune and some suspension stuff done. That said, I felt it was just time to find something else. Wasn't sure how I would take the GT350 because after all the M3 is a 'BMW'. I'm not a brand loyalist and refuse to be brainwashed by some of the BMW-heads who drink the coolaid like water. I have a second car for a reason.. for fun. My good friend has a 2012 Boss 302 and that is what got me into thinking about a Mustang. The M3 was nice but I think the GT350 will be a good replacement. :-)

Might have to wait till the spring. Anything that involves really getting into the GT350 at over 4K RPM is dicey with the PSS tires, cold weather and cold pavement :) I think there were a few people in warmer climates that compared the GT350 to the E92 M3 on the forum a month or two ago. I'll try to post something in the spring once autocross starts and once I can get into it with alittle more confidence.

Car looks great congrats!
Every weekend I find myself checking weather radar maps to see if no rain is predicted so I could take her for a ride. This winter in the northeast has been the most mild in recent memory; perfect timing.

Congrats!

I ordered mine from a small dealer/friend last May (race red track pack, no stripes) and just got it last Saturday, put 230 miles on it, washed it and it is in garage for the duration. I have been on the planet for half a century and have gained patience, but I have to tell you the wait was painful! :-). Traded a C6GS.

I had the car fifteen minutes and stopped at a sheetz to get a drink for a ride (my town pop 3500), and had three people asking me about it, two taking pictures. In another small community 40 miles away on a back street, a guy chased me up the street on foot to look at it. I stopped and chatted wit him. :-)

Yes, it is a true enthusiasts vehicle, we all are blessed to own this highly developed vehicle from Ford!

again, congrats

These are the best photos I've seen of CO! Congrats on the new car.

Nice car...Nice Pics...same color I've ordered...can't believe how much the color shifts between inside light and natural light...

I had a very hard time deciding between TY and CO. I ended up going TY, but whenever I see the CO in a photo I wonder if I chose correctly. This car looks so good in every color - I want one of each. Congrats and can't wait to hear more.
