first 48 hours...

hi gang,

picked it up yesterday and now she's ready for the long nap.

will get tint, matte black stripes and matte black side stripes.
if i don't like the graphics then i will remove them. will clear bra
the front half of the car later in the summer. vanity plates ordered
and on the way.

the tech package is definitely over priced. the stereo is lacking

sync 3 is not very good but if carplay becomes an option then i
will reassess.

the adjustable seats backs are manual not electronic.

i wish the tops of the door panels and center console used a little more
premium materials.

seem like ford had to hit a 60k price point and the above was where
they skimped.

i have slight alignment issue on my rear bumper but only a couple millimeters
but it's there if you look for it.

other then that i will parrot all the positives that everyone else has already written. see everyone on the road.

There's going to be a whole host of people that are going to think you are only complaining and miss the parrot piece.

Curious what you don't like about sync 3? I think it's pretty good and have a relatively broad experience of different interfaces. Although I agree CarPlay will make it better. And according to Ford we will get the upgrade.

What year is your 308? One of my favorites. GTS or GTB?

the graphics on the interface for the sync 3 look way to dated. that wouldn't itself bothered as much but combined with an anemic stereo, it makes it worse. this was supposed to be the "tech". the stereos on my bmw's are leagues better in sound quality and the uconnect on my jeep is what i would consider average in sound but at least the interface doesn't look like it's from the 90's. although, function wise, other then the stereo, it functions as it should with minimal lag.

i have a red and tan 83 308 quattrovalve. it's a slow car you drive fast because you can take it 9000rpm

Funny. Sync 3 has to be one of my favorite aspects of this car. That thing rocks so much compared to other systems I've used. Fast, responsive, and it works. Include over-the-air updates and the thing is only going to get better.

I 2nd your review - went through mine with a magnifying glass and could only find 1 panel that had maybe 1mm more of a gap - barely noticeable - had to look for it.

These cars are EPIC.

BTW just for fun I started eyeballing my Porsche - when you really look for stuff you will find something.
