Came in today.. the good and the bad

Ordered in August, built Nov 12th... delivered today, BUT the front passenger wheel came from the factory scraped so the dealership got in contact with Ford to get it replaced.

I'm still going to take delivery tomorrow after a full inspection. The dealership has been great and honored our MSRP deal although their competition down the street is getting $10k markup.

Beautiful car, sounds great.. and I'll get to drive it tomorrow. Better pictures to come once I get it home. Regular GT350 wheels are $1600 each btw.

so jealous....there seems to be some kind of issue with their shipping, someone else posted how all of his tires were scuffed and generally messed up...

Nice car! Black is beautiful. I love my black GT. Very unique without the over the top stripe. I have been thinking about a stripe on my black GT but there is something about basic black that just looks good by itself. Can't believe the price of factory wheels, crazy! Congrats

The factory actually took responsibility for this one, I'll post a picture of it but they marked it to point it out. Seems like theres a slight QC problem with the movement of these vehicles.

I wanted it subtle enough that you cant tell its a Shelby.. and from pictures you'd think black would get away with it but nope. If this one passes you, you know its something special, I don't think I noticed another Mustang on the lot. Pictures dont do it justice.

Congrats on this beauty. I wonder wht is going on with the shipping? Of all the regular S550s delivered this past year, I dont recall reading about so much damage during transport. You think they would be more careful with the Shelbys considering they are a bit more special than our regular S550s.

Another stealth bomber! Looks badass man, I can see that you too have dreams of the track. I hope you are singing the praises of your dealership and giving them 100,000 worth of advertising vs the short sighted ADM stealerships. I know I would personally drive anyone the 120 miles to my Shelby dealer even to buy a fiesta just to have them not do business with the 2 dozen gougers closer by.

lol certainly.. Jack Schmitt Ford in Collinsville, IL. They didn't want to place another order until mine came in, but while the other dealership down the road is charging $10k dealer markup.. they didnt do that.

Good choice in color! My front driver's side rim was scuffed and it's been replaced now.

wish theyd let me keep the damaged one as a spare lol
