Was wandering if using 305s up front will rub at all under hard driving or normal driving. I would like to know if anyone has that square setup.

I think you can run 305's but you will need coilovers as the tires will run the strut/spring setup on cars without CO's. I might be wrong, but I swear I remember SOCK who posts on the forum, had to go this route to run 305's.

I run 285/35/20's up front with zero rubbing issues at all.

305's up front are not ideal for DD.

285 square setup will work better.

thats good cause i was going for that road race look :) though next time i might go for 285 40s or 295 35s to fill the gap a smidge more. one reason i went with 18s was for weight. this wheel/tire combo is just below 50lbs. thats a substantial saving over 19" pp wheels. plus my car is a v6 6spd...i didnt want to hurt acceleration in the name of looks. on top of that...i dont have alot of spare cash and this was also a very affordable setup. i think 19s look good but 20s are just not my style. good looks are subjective...and i love how my car looks now. i also like beeing differnt....and im a little tired of concave wheels on s550s. but again thats just my opinion. this is also my daily and i car pool....i dont drive my car to carshows all day lol. sure it would look better lower...but then i wouldnt ve able to drive it lol

I run 285/40r19s. The tramlining is for real. Plenty of times the wheel has yanked on my hands un expectedly. It can can get sketchy through puddles at speed. No fitment issues though. Plenty of room for 305s if that's what you're going for.

285s up front for 15k has made me hesitant to go that wide on my 20x 10s I have waiting around for next year. Different experiences for different people I guess. 305s sound like overkill on a DD. Your 18" XXR look great. Refreshing to see something different.

thanks :) i love the bbs look. im kinda tired of the concave look....as nice as it looks. kinda like back in the 90s...everybody had cobra r's....they look awesome but they were everywhere lol i love the look pf the deep lips and bbs mesh style centers. most people think 18s look too small on these..amd i guess they are intitled to that opinion...but i dig them. i do need to go to 40 series next time...the 35s are a bit short leaving a little more gap than id like. oh we'll...on the next set lol
