Shelby GT350 delivery to Shelby's grandson

I was invited to photograph this special event at Five Star Ford in Plano, TX. Aaron Shelby, grandson of the late Carroll Shelby, took delivery of serial number 50. Fellow Shelby enthusiasts attended, so I snapped a few photos of some nice classics.

That sticker may have something to do with the final release? Or maybe QC passed? But I'm just guessing. Mine has a blue "29" next to the Job #1 sticker.

Mr Shelby is a real gent. I had the opportunity to meet him and shake his hand at the 50th Anniversary celebrations last year

He said the R didn't fit his needs, as he plans to drive this frequently and transport his children.

It could be the day of the month it was completed.

This is the same dealer I purchased my Raptor from, very friendly guys. When I called them to ask about their allocations they were very professional about it and also had mentioned about Shelby's grandson ordering from them. Currently in the wait list to place an order.
