Hey, hope to see you there!

The route is 101 to Mulholland Highway, which winds through the Santa Monica Mountains, with a "shortcut" to PCH via Kanan Dume Rd.
Kanan Dume is just one option of many to reach the PCH; it is more "straight" than the twisty Mulholland Hwy, but equally as scenic. (Then, of course, PCH takes us back to the direction of our starting point).

We could take any other route off Mulholland, or take it the whole way...doesn't matter to me, time-wise. I have not ever been, so I am hoping someone who has driven this highway many times can tell us more about the area - and lead us! :cheers:

Kanan Dume is not on this map, but it is not as far west as route 23 to PCH:

too far from San Diego. but glad the venue moves around so it doesn't get boring. maybe next time something in the mountains like the run up to Palomar or even Big Bear Lake.

[MENTION=13352]klumpikat[/MENTION]; looks like even if I get either Sunday dates off, gotta still work on Saturday. We work overnight hours meaning by the time I get home, do my thing, jump into the GT, and drive to the valley...ya'lls be gone already.

My only salvation would be if work got cancelled which can happen. Problem is, knowing that'll happen is always last minute.

With that said, I'm still open to joining in...hoping to get cancelled & I'll be there.
