I'd say the hardest part of the install was loosening and tightening the clamps lol. Oh and using pliers to loosen that freaking clamp with the strength of a hundred men to disconnect the re-circulation hose. Getting the filter onto the intake tube from the fender was a bit tricky at first, but once you finally figure out a good angle it's a piece of cake.

As you can see, I left the re-circulation hose off and left the cap on. Not sure if I'm going to keep it this way because IT'S FREAKING LOUD! I haven't even had a chance to get on the highway yet and I'm already WOOSH WOOSH WOOSHing all over the place.

I feel like this along with my muffler delete is going to make my mileage even worse, because all I want to do is play music with these two toys.

What else is cool is that about the same exact time I was installing mine cross the VZ in SI. Haha.

i love seeing all the hate you guys are getting on youtube videos and even here on the forums for using stainless and 3" pipe compared to 3.5" aluminum.

Oh, I know that sound very well, and love it. I do have mine recirculating though... Maybe I'll try it again venting to atmo. I was a bit weary of leaving that way, just open with no filter.

How them IAT's looking after driving for a bit? Somehow I can't for the life of my stop staring at the temps and when there is space just getting on gas to hear that turbo spool up and phssssss. Lmao. :amen:

Any advantages / disadvantages to having vent to atmosphere over recirculation? Just got my map intake and haven't decided what I wanted to do yet.
