Somebody's trying to log in to my account

Somebody who is most assuredly not me. Got an email notification about it. Any way of figuring out who it is?

I got a similar email this morning as well..

I received something similar...

I received an email notification from Mustang6g and appeared as a PM email notification.

A number of members reported receiving the same. That account has been banned and all PMs sent by it have been deleted.

I got that same PM a few days back. Deleted it after.

I got the same e-mail early on the morning of the 4th.

Spammer IP address tried to do the same to me today. From Congo no less. WTF!

If you get one of these emails please forward it to [email protected].

The admins will block those IPs from accessing the site.

Attempt to hack my account

Just got a notification that IP address 117.169.1.229 (I looked it up - originating in China) has tried to hack my account 5 times and is blocked for the next 15 mins.

Does the forum admins have a way to permanently block attempted hacks or two step auth?

Realize this is not a Mustang related issue but it impacts all of us out here.
