UPDATED WITH 11.8 @ 114MPH PASS WITH RACE GAS TUNE:

[ame]

Sorry about the late reply, between SEMA, and setting the world on fire with our EcoBoost Mustang, we have not had the chance to post like we like to do.

Here are the mods for this 11.81 runs, and some interesting facts about it:

First 11-second EcoBoost Mustang
Quickest EcoBoost powered vehicle in the 1/4 mile
Race Gas Tune
Removed Passenger Seat
Removed cat-back (has factory cat and downpipe)
17" drag wheel/tire combo
Everything else is as delivered from the factory

The tuner is ready to go for these, of course for the pump gas tunes. We will start shipping Monday after the entire staff is back from SEMA.
With much of our staff our at SEMA we have not been able to post it on our site yet, but we are taking orders and start shipping Monday. As wil our other EcoBoost tuners, it will run $599.99

The passes you saw at full weight going 12.62 with heavy 20" wheels, and the same tune it had when it went 12.19 with slight weight reduction and bigs and littles on it.

This is a race gas tune, which in the past is not something we typically release only because we base our race gas tunes using VP race fuels. Not everyone has these fuels available to them readily, and due to that we cannot trust the fuel to act the same way as another race fuel. It's possible, but historically we do not.

With that said, check out the video ;)

Since the other thread is getting pretty long, we decided to start a thread with today's update.

While others are only showing you dyno runs, gauges, or "coming soon" propaganda, we are out doing what we do best. Setting records and amazing people with the results we can achieve with the EcoBoost family of engines., Not only did we run an impressive 12.6 1/4 mile time earlier in the week on 20" wheels and tires, making it the fastest tune only EcoBoost Mustang in the country, we decided to see what some light weight wheels and tires would do. With a 17" race wheel and tire combo, along with removing the front seat, we were able to run a 12.1 1/4 mile time. This easily makes it the quickest EcoBoost Mustang on the planet.

We are just getting started with this platform, so keep a look out for more world records from Livernois Motorsports and Engineering!

:headbang: Very nice. After stumbling over a GT PP yesterday I was walking the fence. This helps me remember why I decided on the EB a while ago.

I'm not a drag racer at heart but do love the feel of a car accelerating hard.

Thanks for keeping us in the loop.

Dang, you got 5mph just going with lighter wheels and removing the seat? Thats really impressive. How much boost is it running total vs stock? Also, how much did the seat weigh?

Edit** Saw on the other thread 20psi.

Awesome, I'm getting an EB (mainly due to european fuel/emission taxes) and reports like this makes it look absolutely great.

It looks like the 11-second build is not far away, putting it in 'super car' territory.

They told me it has 3.15's. It's not a track-pack car

Yeah, I'd love more info on this:
Tires, pressure, temps, 60ft, gear ratio (3.15 vs 3.55TL, etc) and more.
It's not making much sense...

It had 17" slicks, was roughly 50 degrees F, the 60' is on the slip - 1.6766, and they stated it has a 3.15. What's not making sense?

They had lighter wheels and no passenger seat

Not sure if you saw my other post in the original thread.

I was at Milan with a group of guys from Ohio and saw Livernois. Nice group of guys! I checked the exhaust and under the hood to see if it had a CAI but it has a stock air box and full factory exhaust. Impressive!!!

There was a crowd of onlookers around the car all day.
