Where is the fuse box you guys are tapping into? Never mind I see it on the inside / passenger side kick panel.

I bought this to mount my detector.

Love using the mirror taps as there is less wire and cleaner.
My problem is that occasionally the wires loosen when driving and detector and camera shut off.
Tried jamming wires in, larger wires.
Anybody else have same problem?

I have the same issues. detector wires come loose a few times a month. I tried to put some duct tape across the back of the mirror to put pressure on the wires, and it helps a little. I'm thinking about using the standard wiring harness and going to the fuse box.

Mine loosen up like every other day, I have to tap the back of the plug to get it to kick on.

Mine kept coming out so I finally clipped the wires and spliced radar detector wires by soldering. Didn’t want to have to do that. Now I’m getting an ‘18 and will get to do it all again...
