You can always send them to Poland with your headlights if you're comfortable with that process and don't trust anybody local to do it, but still want the tri-bars. Has been done by a few on here

Thanks PJ. I am considering this alternative and I have contacted him already.

My only concern is that I use it as a daily driver and I cannot have it in the garage for a couple of weeks... I try to work out a solution, to send him my DD DRL boards and have him install them on one of his own headlights. Then he will send the modified headlights to me. As soon as I receive them, I will send him mine.

If this solution works out, then I will change the back lights as well to sequential turn signal!

Otherwise I will have to sell them, unless you have anything else to suggest of course. I would love to see my tribars illuminated...

Finally things worked out with our friend in Poland. This guy is great and very flexible. DRLs sent for installation! Can't wait to receive them.

Will post pics as soon as I received them and have them installed. It will be a two-step project though: first the front DRLs and then, as soon as these are installed, I will send out the tail lights for modification as well.

By the way, I would like to point out that this forum is great. And I would like to thank especially [MENTION=12253]papinist[/MENTION], [MENTION=14834]John577[/MENTION], [MENTION=21881]MustangMustHaves[/MENTION] for their advise. You guys are early adopters and drive the mods on our Stangs.

You going to replace the lights your self? Not sure I can trust in my Ford Store to mod my car like this... did everything go smoothly with our Polish friend? I've been meaning to get in touch with him for ages now...

No, I cannot do it by myself, or trust the dealer by the way... I will take my car to a specialist who will do the installation for me. Better be safe than sorry.

Everyhting went very smoothly with our friend. He is really great and flexible. I already sent him my DRLs for installation. Do it by all means!

New tribar headlights

Hi, I am working for a while on my US Mustang, today was the headlights check. Bought two brand new units from a parts dealer, and surprise, the tribars are working! The headlights were imported from Germany, and are the non automatic leveling version. Price arround 375 euro each +VAT. If anybody wants tribars, maybe it's a good compromise, to sell yours and buy new units.

Interesting, did you have to provide a VIN?

If you have an US Mustang and bought imported (US) headlights, tribars are working for sure (US headlights are without leveling).
EU headlights haven't the led boards inside, the can't lit the tribars in any way.

I didn't gave them the VIN. Headlights were already in Europe, with these tribars. They only asked me if leveling is needed. Part no FR3Z 13008 J . We all know that new headlights in the states are around one thousand dollars.
