You guys missed a great time at T-Hill on Saturday! Ran with Speed SF for the first time, cool group, pretty laid back. Run groups are kinda weird, with Low Intermediate being point-by passing only, and High Intermediate being optional point-by with open passing allowed anywhere, so there were some sketchy passing situations with people being overtaken that really needed the comfort of pointing by, but the overtaker shooting in for an open pass...

Anyhow, weather was awesome the whole day, we dodged bullets for sure with the rain. I have a bunch of yet-unedited raw video footage, and they should be posting professional pics in the next few days, so I'll link some of those up later.

Here's some brief highlights;

-ran a personal best 1:28.64 (but I know there's more left...)
-MCE Racing guys were there with Dynojet on a trailer, $60 for 3 pulls, so of course I did it. 420hp/384tq with only JLT CAI, MBRP Street Catback and Lund canned tune (the best one! )
-pitted next to the dude that bought [MENTION=15673]kkakonn[/MENTION] 's car (http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=22962&highlight=track+build), and did some lead/follow. Cool guy and I think he might show up around this forum

Harry's Lap Timer. Overall, I really like it, but I've had a miserable failure in trying to run it on my iPhone 5s and add external GPS receiver and wireless connected go pro… so I'm stuck with the 1hz sampling of the iPhone GPS receiver, and separate video recording from the go Pro that does not have the cool overlays for track position, Lateral acceleration, speed, etc.

My Corsa Sport survived the dreaded meatball at Laguna Seca. I did have to short shift after turn six and that is were I did most of my pointing but everywhere else I was good

Wow now I'm shooting myself that I couldn't go. The dyno alone would have been worth it. I wonder what my car would put down. Full bolt ons, lund flex tune, with pmas and upr valve train goodies.

Will be at Thunderhill all day on sunday the 23rd if anyone else is attending or thinking about it. I'll be running in the red group. [MENTION=16819]Roh92cp[/MENTION] is coming in for a week all the way from Maine, unfortunately without his car, and will be there as well getting him some track time experience. Lots of mustangs of all years show up in this club and it will be my first time running with them. I'm not bringing up the club name as they aren't a sponsor so don't know if that would throw up a red flag from the moderators but it's easy to find by looking at the Thunderhill calendar.

Try to make it the weekend ones are the days that work for me only thing that has me skeptical right now is the noise restriction my car is not very quiet and haven't had the chance to quiet her down yet

I'll be there this coming Thurs, the 13th if anyone here has planned for that one. Bummer thing is that it's supposed to rain that day.

Ill definitely be doing track days at thunderhill this summer... but on two wheels.
