Interesting, closed group, trying to keep the great unwashed like me out huh. Yeah I registered on facebook but don't even have a picture of me on there. How many are in this group and is it worth the effort to join.
there is 460 members for the v6 s550 group

just let me know your name on there and ill let them know to accept you

i would say it is based on we all have the same engine and different builds and quite a few of them have mpt tune also there is some running nitrous, prochargers.

theres also a cyclone 3.7 group, but mixed in with previous year mustangs

it has 736 members

Question....

Has anyone had MPT disable the rear O2 sensors in a off-road exhaust configuration? I believe I read somewhere on their site that they do not do that.

Correct, no one's touching emissions controls these days. The fines arent worth it.
I see... I want to do a custom high flow cat configuration and just deleting the rear o2 sensors would save alot of time but it looks like I am going to have to include them.

My MPT decal that I ordered also came with a SCT and 3 tunes with in about a week turnaround from the order date. The first test run was through the North West hills in CT and the Berkshires. I just tried the 93 tune. I would agree that it addresses the dead area in the lower RPMs and 6th gear is more useful with hills. The gas pedal sensitivity changes your use of the left foot on the clutch a little. Didn’t notice a big change on the top end but overall happy with it. I have been monitoring the fuel air ratio, this could have been a factory tune instead of the detune.

So I had my tune emailed to me yesterday and all i have to say is wow. Night and day compared to the bama tunes I've had. There is a noticeable difference in the low end of the powerband which is exactly what I needed. Im smiling from ear to ear now, and would recommend a mpt tune to everyone and anyone.

Yeah agree with you 100%. I can't see driving the car without this tune.

Improvement with gas mileage with highway driving for me. I did have a weird issue a few days after loading the tune when starting the car once where I got an ABS , Traction Control flashing and beeping then went away.

I get around 17 mpg around town with spirited driving and short trips. Coming back from a family trip yesterday I got 34 mpg, pure highway driving at 60-70 mph.

24 around the endless stop lights in town. Over 32 on extended highway trips both with top down.
