Few Things today:-

MGW X-Spec Short-Shifter.
Transmission & Gearbox Oil Changes to BG Fluids.
3rd Oil & Filter Change (12,000 miles).
Boomba Racing Rear Vertical Links.
Steeda Sub-Frame Alignment Kit (for BMR CB005).
Alignment.

Thanks to the guys @ Automek in East Kilbride
Garage reported:-
Standard Trans Oil was 'awful stuff & looked nasty'
Sub-Frame moved 5-10mm when the Alignment Delrins were fitted.

Had one more mod' done, but you're gonna have to wait till its dark for me to get a photo & post!

Any guesses??

Guy on facebook already does.

The amount that sub moves is obscene the bolt literally takes the piss... I can liken it to the phrase 'Throwing a party sausage down a hallway'. Glad I got the Steeda UK Supports, really tightens that arse up !

No news for today for me... Other than pushing my car to the 'new limits' with it's IRS alignment kit to find the step-out points, which is fun especially when it's 5k RM in 1st that causes a step out :eyebulge:

My container of parts has finally arrived in the UK and is sat in Lakenheath waiting for me. I bought some new axel stands today in readiness for the weekend of dismantling the car.

Good guess SteveS :D

Bought it about a year ago when X-Lume were developing it.

It does look okay switched off or on the 'red colour setting' - still undecided about keeping it on - sure has the 'Chav factor'! :barf:

But being a Sparky' I'm a 'sucker for anything that lights up!

Gave mine a good clean today.
It's amazing how a few tools can make the work so much easier.
Although I was getting some funny looks blowing the car with a leaf blower but it makes drying the car 100x easier.
And then decent drying towels and microfibres. I have recently ordered from the rag company UK. It's amazing how just changing your microfibres can make such a big difference.
