All superchargers are as good and bad as each other but whipple has a sound of its own only reason I opted for it otherwise I'd have fitted the edlebrook type looks stock

If I do ever supercharge, I agree with the whipple. Don't care too much about anything really else really. The whine is what I want. Its just soo nice! Its the reason why I would never buy a roush even though I rate them very highly.

who knows what will happen. Right now 410HP is enough for me.

Good result, where did you go, the Pod ?
Yes, great day got around ten runs in so was able to mess with pressures.

37psi too much.
28-30psi about just right.
25psi sideways lots of times even in 3rd gear.

So I went back to 30psi for my last run of day and even did a little burn out and then fucked the launch as was gunning for a 12.5-12.7, but then thought fuck it, car has survived, I have survived and I got a 12, time to go home. :D

My 12s run was also a from idle launch and not full power in 1st so I reckon if I can launch it and get full power mid 12's for sure, but gonna have to do myself a big burn out. :)

Yeah but you didn't have the added pressure of me sitting in the next lane:p:p

To be honest my runs were not good, no wheel hop but lots of wheel spin. The 20" wheel/tyre combo does not hook up as well, was spinning through 2nd gear quite a bit if I tried going for too much power early.

The moment I get a launch when it flies off the line and I can keep the throttle pinned and bang it through the gears will be a very nice time indeed.

Definetely need to start using line lock to go faster or just throw some slicks on the back haha.

But over the moon with 115mph terminal, the GT 350 kit has bumped that nicely and I was using stock TB as well. So its gained me 2-3mph without TB, which is 30HP, which well adds up as I previously made 470HP and then jumped to 500HP. :)

Have you spoken to moxy on mFUK? He started drag racing with his 197 and is a really useful resource. He is as obsesive about upgrades as you and is more than willing to talk to people. He has a thread about his whole build and experiements drag racing on there somewhere.
