Probably because the hood aluminum is so paper thin the louver wouldn't punch right, and even if they did they would be damaged at the slightest wrong touch.

Louvers require old-school sheetmetal.
I was hoping they were recessed and sort of hidden...like the GT350, but on both sides instead of dead center.

Those hood scoops look like the lint clean out on my dryer, surely they could do better

I'm guessing we avoided the auto rev-matching for now? Haven't heard anything about it.
This!! No auto rev-match?

It's like they tried to emulate the 2007 GT500 scoops, but instead of stamping the scoop into the hood they just decided to fail. I had the same issue with my '16 scoop, but the aftermarket fixed the issue for me.

Ok I'm not usually very critical, and have owned Mustangs most of my life, but that front end is even more rounded and girly than it was before. And it even bothered me about my 15 before this extreme. They are going more and more bubble econo-car looking and less and less muscle. It is UGLY. It looks like Barbie Dream House Mustang. I don't even know what to make of those diagonal splitter things. Seriously, if I had to do it over again, I would get the 17 Camaro. I just don't love the 5.0 as much as I did the 4.6. The 4.6 sounded badass all the time. The 5.0 is raspy, the suspension doesn't hook up as well. Not very happy. I want a bigger displacement 8 and a more traditional muscle car look.

Perhaps, with the right mods.
Stock Tesla 100D is said to do the 1/4 in 10.6 so need to aim at that, but modified GT's in the track thread do sub 9 seconds with A6, so a faster shifting A10 might knock 0.1(?) off...
A $140,000.00+ Tesla isn't something to compare a Mustang to.:lol::lol:

Plus, Mustangs aren't drag cars. They're GTs, and sports coupes. They're for Grand Touring and occasionally taking to a track. If you want a drag car, buy a Hellcat.

For clarification purposes;

This is a track;

This is a "strip", not a "track";

I liked the changes on the fastback and I think with the lines of the vert it's a big improvement.

Somehow the convertible looks perfect, yet the Fastback just lacks in the front end for me. Interesting. Either way, I'm still happy we've got options and that I already own an S550.
