Is it expected that there will be a choice? All I've seen is the digital dash, no analog. I would be very surprised to find there is an option between the two, I'm certain it will be digital, and that's it.

In the US the standard will still be analog. The digital dash is an optional extra available on the premium-plus package.

Digital all the way. I've been coveting Audi's Virtual Cockpit since it came out but I always thought "at least we won't see something like that in the Mustang for a while..."

Needless to say, I got super jealous when Ford revealed the 2018. For me, the digital cluster almost makes up for the frumpy headlights.

Totally agree about the virtual cockpit. Audi did a awesome job hoping the digital dash in the Mustang is as sharp. The pictures I have seen look great. Will be a must have option if I ever trade mine in.

You removed the one feature I wish my current car had
Can't please everyone.

Open source anything related to vehicle programing seems like a massive security liability and I don't think any manufacturer wants to get into that.
Yup I said hacking. You know for fun like a community or something.

I'll go with the digital option, it even helped my decision to go with the Mustang over say a Challenger SRT which has some very nice digital options on its info screen.

I voted analog, but only because I am use to BMW dash. For the Mustang, I would prob take digital.

If going convertible I would definitely go analog. I can barely see the center screen when the top is down and the sun is out. I'm also prefer the old school look so....

Xbox Generation ...

I know my son is going to love it. Heck he grew up on Playstation & Xbox playing Need for Speed, Forza Motorsport, Midnight Club: L.A, Burnout Paradise.
I made sure he at least grew up knowing all about cars. I still take him to car shows all the time. He told me to go digital too, even though I am more old school. ;)

Very good point. For 'vert I'd say analog.
