Hello,

I'm planning to upgrade to a GT soon and can't seem to decide whether I should go with a 400a or 401a.

401a includes all 400a features, but also has:

- BLIS (I kind of prefer integrated mirrors)
- Memory seats (neat, but not required)
- Shaker Pro
- Navigation (I would use google maps integration most of the time)
- Ambient lighting (Would be nice, but my color will do)

The only real thing that sways me is the Shaker Pro. I read up some threads about it and it seems to have 2 camps. I understand it's not as good as an aftermarket upgrade, but for a factory upgrade is it worth getting 401a package?

What were your reasons to stick with 400a or get 401a?

BLIS, memory seats and shaker did it for me. Shaker sounds a lot better than base. Some say it not worth it. But for me...

I thought 400A has ambient lighting? Unless its something else. Navigation isnt necessary with the Carplay/AA availability.

I've been happy with my 401a. Compare both cars in person and decide for yourself though, you'll get opinions on both sides of the camp here.

BTW in urs ambient lighting is same for 400 and 401a.. only thing is BLIS Navigation Shkaer pro.

For me these are not deal breakers. but if you like it and you get good deal take them.

Nav is not 401a. It's separate. I have 400a with Nav.
I am pretty sure 401a is Shaker Pro with HD radio, BLIS, memory seats.
Ambient light is standard with premium package.

How much are they giving you for your V6?

You can get Navigation with the 400a.

401a wasn't worth $1795 in my opinion. Especially when 400a can be had with Navigation.

the subwoofer that comes with the Shaker Pro should be ashamed to call itself a subwoofer lol, the BLIS and memory seats make the 401a option worthy imo

I don't want to talk about it :headbonk: All I'm gonna say is things changed for the better since the purchase so I kind of just don't care.

I have a 2013 F150 FX4 with the Sony system and the Shaker puts the Sony to shame. No matter what ya think of the shaker sub, its 1000% better than the Sony sub...

Sweet, thank you for correcting me on the ambient lighting and navigation. I thought that my color was standard for premium, but ambient lighting was a 401a upgrade. Glad I was wrong.

I am planning to use google maps integration so navigation isn't necessary, although it would be handy when going down to the states to avoid roaming.

Sounds like the only thing I need to test is the Shaker Pro system, but I already don't think it's worth 2 grand.

Personally, I would rather spend money on exhausts.
