Any idea how I can get the chrome on the taillights blacked out?

Ok, I guess that would work, risky though since rhese taillights are not cheapThis has come up many times over the last couple years. It seems the best answer in the long run is to swap taillights with someone that wants the 50 yr AP chrome trim lights. There are people that want them and will pay for them.
Not enough market, simple economics. Why cant they make this for specifically the 50th an. models? Lol
Do you have a picture?i had a few people wanting to trade me and come to find out my trim was chipped so that was a no go ! i tinted mine and there actually not bad at all now
I did the same with mine along with the rear deflectors and reverse light.i had a few people wanting to trade me and come to find out my trim was chipped so that was a no go ! i tinted mine and there actually not bad at all now
Dayum that looks good! Every time I see a pic of your car I feel that way and it never decreases! It's doable. I did this a while back with my set- but I agree with everyone if you just want black, swap them out for a non 50th set. Much easier.
Really appreciate that! :cheers:Dayum that looks good! Every time I see a pic of your car I feel that way and it never decreases!
Its actually quite interesting how it makes them look so different, look alot better imo
I guess its alot harder then what it looks like? It's doable. I did this a while back with my set- but I agree with everyone if you just want black, swap them out for a non 50th set. Much easier.
