Any idea how I can get the chrome on the taillights blacked out?

This has come up many times over the last couple years. It seems the best answer in the long run is to swap taillights with someone that wants the 50 yr AP chrome trim lights. There are people that want them and will pay for them.

I found these but they say they dont fit 50th anniversary models. Why cant they make this for specifically the 50th an. models? Lol

i had a few people wanting to trade me and come to find out my trim was chipped so that was a no go ! i tinted mine and there actually not bad at all now

It's doable. I did this a while back with my set- but I agree with everyone if you just want black, swap them out for a non 50th set. Much easier.

I guess its alot harder then what it looks like?It's doable. I did this a while back with my set- but I agree with everyone if you just want black, swap them out for a non 50th set. Much easier.
