I suppose I can comment on this.

The image pictured is a GT350 hood which we made and used as a basis for creating a unique surface. Yes, the heat extractor is function just like the GT350, and will use the OEM grill insert.



As you can see there is alot of unique surface work, and frankly it looks great. It really has taken on it's own lines with how different the front clips are.

It is being prepped currently to building tooling from. What you see on my car was pulled from a dimensionally stable clay model, and hasn't been prepped yet.





Very excited to see it in carbon, and to get car on the track soon.

Personally my favorite view, sorry for the rather poor quality image.

The increased view of the road is very nice.


We intentionally went as low as possibly to accentuate the aggressive nature of the hood.

There likely isn't enough room to install the GT hood vent if we even wanted to offer something like that. There is 1/4" gap between to two points of concern, the fuse box and the hood release cable.

Yes it will. My car is a stock GTPP in terms of engine bay for just this reason. The hood will clear OEM strut braces Given that it uses a perimeter inner support structure, you have more clearance that a stock GT350 hood.

Price has been discussed and forecasted, while I have alot of say in that. Ultimately it is not my decision. That will likely come out later in the month.

The early carbon versions are using a Sigmatex 245GSM 3k 2x2 twill, an aerospace certified material, similar to what is on the Corvettes.

That hood picture on my car hasn't even been fitted, that's a credit to Ron Williams Design dimensional stability in the clay work, and Todd from Helion pulling a mold from it.
