Yes but at the track in the staging lanes is where this concern becomes legit. Anything above 108* the ECU limits ignition timing. Lund tuning, lets say, opens up that threshold a bit but not a lot. The box and filter is a snug fit, but they fit well together. There is enough wiggle room, where the filter is getting the proper amount of air when the car is moving!Isn't the size of the box pretty small for the filter? There isn't much space between the sides of the box and the filter...
