I have the Borla Touring as well and I'd say Volume 4, Drone 1.

I agree. 4 sounds about right when I was running mine.

Best case, find a Mustang to ride in with the setup you are interested in. At the least, research as much as you can. That is, unless you have the money to switch out exhaust components until you get the desired sound. Most ppl don't want to do that, but a lot of them end up doing it anyway! Sound is so subjective that you need a consensus of people to get an idea of what you are getting into. One guy's opinion isn't good enough. For instance, most folks would agree that Roush axle backs with an x pipe is loud (I've heard it in person). Threads like this are a start. Read a lot of them.

Corsa extreme with catless long tube headers. Volume? I don't know, everybody says it's super loud on the outside. Drone, is less than my wife's stock car.

Thats exactly why im looking for corsa xtreme, my catless setup is like an 8 for drone. corsa is silent inside

Is there anyone here with long tubes no cats and straight through pipes with no mufflers and no mid x or h pipe connection? Just straight from engine to the back? I m guessing that setup might be the most extreme out there!

Full ARH system with catless LT's and H-pipe, Loudness 8, Drone 0. I answer the question 'what exhaust is that" all the time. Nice muscle car sound and great build quality and fit.

Don't get me wrong, it's not silent at cruise, it has a very nice mild tone that's very pleasant and relaxing. None of this ear vibrating drone that I'm use to from exhaust systems I've bought in the past.

flowmaster american thunder axleback and flowmaster scavenger series resonator delete x-pipe. 8 at startup, 6 when mashed to the floor. the drone at 1500rpm in 6th vibrates the inside of the car. (i have learned to upshift). it sounds really cool decelerating and never backfires or cackles. seat of pants dyno tells there was a significant increase in hp and i have grown to like it. HTH

3" borla s type, id say volume 5 drone ZERO. no borla exhaust drones at all. 6th gear 70mph, like its not even there

Borla s-type catback id say more like a 5 or 6. It's fairly loud. 0 for drone.
