Hello,

I am planning to buy used Eibach Pro-Kit lowering springs. Is there anything I should look for when inspecting the springs. Also, is buying used springs not recommended? I am told they have about 2k miles on them but I have no way of verifying this.

Good answer....

OP, you should be fine. Check for cracks and look at make sure all the coils look consistent with each other.

Thank you. I am going to school and work part time so anything I can save helps.

Tires are the only I'm ever really concerned about buying used. Haven't been burned on anything yet. My exhaust was purchased used and All sorts of other parts. It's pretty hard to mess up springs. They steel with no wearable parts

There is no reason to be worried about used springs

I am selling my pro-kit shortly.. These springs come with 1 million miles warrenty, which means they are pretty much un-wearable.

Make sure you have the bumpstops that come with the springs.

pro-kit bumpstops appear to be shorter, IIRC.
I would assume that you don't need to trim the pro-kit bumpstops. I did not.
OEM ones, maybe an inch or so? There are other threads talking abou this.
