I ran a 4c with a Paxton setup and loved it. Absolutely nothing wrong with that high a stall on a supercharged car. I even ran a 5c for a little while with it and car would leave even harder.

I started off with a 4c. Was looking for more aggressive so I went with the 5c. 5c performed better at the track but I had an issue with the stator bearing(think that's what it was). anyways wasn't sure if I was putting too much abuse or if it was one of those things that just happens every now and then and goes bad. I went back to the 4c then sold the car. I definitely preferred the 5c.

I think, I am not positive that CIRCLE D re-did something in the past 2 years.... that fixed
1 minor issue ....

I went with 5C after talking to Circle D, they are very nice, and smart.
...also, YOU get 1 free "re-do" of the converter in the first year, minus shipping.
I assume that deal is still good.

it makes a huge difference in launch and feel, but around town, not a whole lot
of downsides, especially with 3.15s.

I even went so far as to install the JMS e-transbrake..."super-trik" piece.
BOW...LAUNCH...GONE!

How long/how many launches you have on the JMS? See a lot of mixed reviews regarding the long term damage they do to the trans.

probably 100+

I don't think it is good to sit there for over 5 seconds floored everytime you launch.
...and I have heard that as well. fingers crossed... LOL

Ya converter balooning (stock converter), and baking the fluid are probably no doubt the hardest on the trans, but JMS claims does not raise the line pressure.

Do you have a 2-step, or just bang max on the converter?

Thanks for the info Cobra, and sorry to thread jack, but such limited info out on the transbrake setups.

I'm confused you had an issue that your not sure if they fixed?

Only reason I'm asking is if you were having an issue with the convertor what was it? Thanks

What can someone expect to pay to have a converter installed?

Damn right it is! I did it myself. And any yahoo that says it's a 2 hour job. Is a straight up liar!
AGREED, and it sucks!

hardest part is getting bolts out, and back in and lining the
sucker up.

I have a lift and tranny jack, and didn't like doing it.

..BUT, I do know it was done right... LOL

Sounds interesting, I am switching my intake step from the GT350 to the cobra jet now that Shaun @AED is tuning these combos.
