Going to track soon for the first time

For those out there with the stock 235 on 18's what have you done to get he best launch on the stock street tires? I'm manual I'd assume even trying to use the launch control at the lowest setting of 3k would be useless and just produce wheel spin? Car is all stock minutes the h pipe resonator delete

Should I keep the stock pressures up or lower a bit? Also running in track mode just disables traction control but keeps the advance trac on right?

What is a good shift point also?

And if your back end comes loose and kicks to the side... LET OFF and get it straight. Give up the run -- you are not a professional drifter. Don't end up in a wall... its expensive.

It wont hurt to lower the tire pressure down to about 25psi. Yes track mode as described. But you'll want to turn everything off for drag racing. Hold the traction control toggle up for about 7 second til you see it turned off on the dash.

I do 28 psi at a drag strip... of course I'm hopeless at a drag strip... so... haha.

What's the best rpm to shift at?
